- It is highly recommended to take proper backup of all your existing data like installed apps, contacts, SMS, MMS, videos and data stored on the internal storage.

- Download and install Samsung USB Drivers on the PC.
- Enable USB Debugging on your AT&T Galaxy S7 Edge by navigating to Setting > Developer Options.
- The battery level of your AT&T Galaxy S7 Edge should be charged at least about 80% to avoid unexpected shutdowns while rooting process.
Steps to Root AT&T Galaxy S7 Edge on any Android Firmware:
Step No 1:- Download Odin flashing tool, the Rooted-Boot.tar package and SuperSU package from the above given links on the desktop of your PC.
Step No 2:- Unzip the Odin tool and run it as Administrator on your PC.
Step No 3:- Connect the smartphone with PC using its USB data cable.
Step No 4:- Power off your Galaxy S7 Edge in order to boot into download mode.
Step No 5:- Press and hold Volume Down + Home + Power buttons simultaneously. Release these buttons when the Warning screen pops up.
Step No 6:- Next, press Volume Up to confirm Download Mode boot.
Step No 7:- If the device is connected successfully with the PC, the “added” message will be displayed and the ID:COM field will turned yellow or blue.
Step No 8:- On Odin tool, click on the AP button, and browse for the .tar file that you have already downloaded. The Re-partition and Auto Reboot options must be unchecked.
Step No 9:- Begin the flashing process by clicking on Start button and wait for the process to be finished successfully.
Step No 10:- Now unzip the SuperSU package on your computer into a folder and rename it with “super”.
Step No 11:- Access the Android SDK folder on your PC and within that folder, open a command prompt window by pressing and holding the Shift keyboard key while right clicking on any blank space.
Step No 12:- In the command prompt window type these commands:
cd super root.bat
Step No 13:- This process will take some time, once the process is completed, remove the USB connection and reboot your AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
