May 2020 security patch update is started receiving by Google Pixel phones and this update is rolling out for the Pixel 4, Pixel 4XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2XL users. This latest security patch update is now available and you can download the complete May factory images. This month May 2020 has been focused on improving security and different bugs that have been reported by the users.
Android source code is also optimized each day for increasing and improving security and to make sure that these changes are running on the phones. Google also releases a new package referred to as a patch. If you want to manually upgrade, you should have a May 2020 firmware running which you can update automatically from OTA (Over-The-Air) or you can download the complete factory images ahead.
The Google Android Pixel Security Update-May 2020 Update:
Pixel 4XL, Pixel4, Pixel 3aXL, Pixel 3XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 2XL, Pixel 2 are the eligible devices that are receiving April 2020 Android 10 updates. Currently, only the above-mentioned devices will receive the latest May update which is on the Google software update roster.
