Today, we bring a list of best free fitness apps for Android, and iPhone. Are you a witness freak? No matter how difficult is to do workout during these lockdown days. We are here with a perfect solution for you. We have brought you the best smartphone apps to keep your health in check. Some people still manage to take out time during their busy daily schedules and go to the gym while others don’t follow their routines. These apps will change your life for the better, and this includes exercising, maintaining a healthy diet, etc.
1 – Fitbod
Fitbod is in first place in my list of the best free fitness apps because it will let you explore every part of your daily routine. It is geared towards getting your body in shape, mostly by providing you with amazing exercise and workout plans. Actually, the way this app works is quite creative. When you set up Fitbod for the first time, it will ask you for a few important things, such as what type of body you want as well as how many hours a week you can dedicate to working out.
2 – Runkeeper
Runkeeper deserves the second place in my list of the best free fitness apps. This app is obviously that what you imagined before installing this app. Runkeeper also helps to track their cardio exercises but also for them who don’t have any access to a treadmill. You can also see that the app automatically syncs with your Google Fit or Apple Health data, and takes information to display at a glimpse. The use of your phone’s GPS to track your location is done with the highest accuracy, and then measures how many calories you have burnt.
3 – Strava
Strava is in third place of my list of the best free fitness apps because especially this app is designed for those who want to track their cardio workout. Strava is also geared towards the people who cycle a lot. This doesn’t mean that Strava doesn’t work for people who like jogging though. There is a bit of accuracy difference so that’s why we recommend you Runkeeper for jogging like activities. It is also a great app companion for those who loved their cycling adventures. This app is also free to use, and most of the features come unlocked without being paid.
4 – Fitocracy
Fitocracy also holds an important place in my list of the best free fitness apps because it is a fitness tracking and training app that is available for Android only. Fitocracy is more of a game than it does as a fitness app. When you achieve your fitness goals it will level up you, and unlock goodies within the game. You can also track other people’s workout and level, and be competitive in beating them. This app might seem to be as fun to use the app, Fitocracy doesn’t shy away when it comes to the number of workouts and variations that it has too.
5 – Fitbit
Fitbit is also in my list of the best free fitness apps because it was recently acquired by Google, also runs an impressive fitness tracking and training app that is available for both Android and iOS. It is actually wondered to know that you don’t need to buy a Fitbit device to use this app, having one unlocks more features and allows you to perform even more actions, exercise, training, etc. The best part is that this app is enriched by the user interface and friendly tutorials for every workout session. You can see other features including logs of your daily food intake, monitor your hydration, and much more.
6 – MyFitnessPal
MyFitnessPal is also in my list of the best free fitness apps. MyFitnessPal has been around for ages for both Android and iOS devices and has been improved a lot in recent years. Moreover, daily health tips and also this app is the best in class for those who want to cut down on the junk food they eat every day. The unique feature of this app is that you can choose from over 6 million different dishes that you can quickly choose from as well as simply create your own shortcuts to the best suit your daily meal intake.
7 – Pokémon GO
Pokémon GO is last is my list of the best free fitness apps because it allows you to have fun, and at the same time keep your body in perfect shape. You can consider Pokémon Go as a game but it is also one of your enjoyable jogging partners. If you don’t already know, this app is one of the Augmented Reality (AR) games, which means these games will let you interact with your surroundings in real life to play them and also requires you to walk a lot.
